Wesley stromberg
Wesley Trent Stromberg or you can call him "Wes" for short. Was born on December 6, 1993. Wesley grew up in the small town of Sequim, Washington. From the time he picked up his first guitar, Wes began writing songs, singing and playing music with his sister, Bruke, and his younger brother, Keaton Stromberg. Buy 11, he had formed his first band “Deferred Prosecution” by teaching two of his friends to play the drums and bass. At 13, Wesley’s maturing talent lead to another band, “The American Scholars,” playing concerts for fans at the all ages local scene. Wesley quickly gained notoriety in the local press as a performing artist on the rise, opening for Seattle bands such as “Schoolyard Heroes” and “The Lonely H.” His folks then decided to invest in Wesley recording a few songs at a
professional recording studio with promising results. The following year, Wesley
auditioned at an open call in Seattle and won a spot at a concert promoting the
Top Ten Bands in Seattle. At age 15, Wesley then recorded his first solo CD
“Bite Your Lip and Take It” on which he wrote, arranged, sang and performed all
the instruments in the basement of his home on his Mac compotator! Awww, Wes!
With 'adopted' brother Drew Chadwick, and his brother Keaton, the three moved to
Los Angeles, California to pursue their passion of making music together
and formed his current band EMBLEM3. With the addition of sax player Kyle Miner
and percussionist Kenny Galbraith, Emblem3 has blazed a trail with their hit
single "Sunset Blvd." playing all the clubs on the strip. Wesley's creative
roots come from an award winning lineage in the entertainment industry. His
filmmaker grandfather, William R. Stromberg worked as a special effects artist
on "The Titanic." His father, William T. Stromberg is an acclaimed film composer
who has been nominated for two Grammys, and founder of the record label Tribute
Film Classics. Wesley’s mother, Laraine Claire, is also a composer with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Conservatory at USC and is a professional
harpist. Uncle Robert Stromberg is an Academy Award winning Art Director for
films including Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, Memoirs of a Geisha and Master and
Commander to name a few. Bet you didn't know that!
